Who is the controller

The controller for this site's analytics data is wosh.productions, the Rijeka (Croatia) studio that builds and maintains the site. Contact: [email protected].

What we measure and why

With your consent we use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited. It records which pages are opened, where visitors come from (for example a search engine or a link), device and browser type, language and approximate location (country and city). Depending on the settings it also records interactions such as scrolling, clicks on external links and file downloads.

We only look at the data as aggregate statistics, to learn which content is useful and how the site is used. We do not try to identify individual visitors and we do not use the data for advertising: Google signals and ad personalisation are switched off.

Consent first

Until you click “Accept analytics”, nothing is sent to Google from this site, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set. If you choose “Decline”, it stays that way.

Your choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage (localStorage, key svjetlarna-analytics-consent), so we do not ask on every page. It is not a cookie and it is not sent anywhere.

Cookies

After consent, Google Analytics sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_3LMCE1V4HH. They distinguish visits and sessions. With Google’s default settings they last up to two years, unless you delete them earlier or withdraw consent. The site uses no other tracking or advertising cookies.

IP addresses and location

According to Google, Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. The IP address is used only to derive an approximate location and is then discarded.

How long we keep data

User-level and event-level data is kept for 14 months and then deleted automatically by Google. Aggregate reports (for example total visits per month) may remain available after that.

Legal basis and data transfers

The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation). Google may also process data outside the European Union, including in the United States; Google LLC participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

How to withdraw consent

At any time: at the bottom of the page, click “Privacy settings” and choose “Decline”. Google Analytics is then switched off and its cookies are deleted. You can do the same here:

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal. You can also delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (azop.hr).

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web server, it processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site, independently of analytics.

Changes

If we change how visits are measured, we will update this page and the date at the top.
